AGARTALA, June 29 (TIWN): After Tripura Medical College (TMC) authority announced to waive the hostel fee of Rs. 2000 and will take the honorarium amount issue seriously, finally the intern doctors withdrew strike.
The strike continued more than 2 weeks demanding hikes in the scholarship.
On Tuesday, TMC authority said that the matter will be taken under consideration and the payment issue will be seen seriously and be proposed in the next society meeting, intern students announced to withdrawal their strike.
However, the interns have given an ultimatum of 1 month to the authority to keep the promise.
