AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): At least two families were attacked by BJP goons at Gangail Road area, Ram Nagar in Agartala on Monday night by BJP miscreants.

Family of Gaur Kumar Bhattacharjee, member of CPI-M Sadar Committee was attacked by some goons. In the attack his uncle Nihar Ranjan Bhattacharjee, his wife and daughter were injured. The house’s furniture items were damaged. The injured persons are now admitted to IGM hospital.

At the same time, Hiralal Das’s house was also attacked by the goons who came on bikes. His house was also vandalized and family members were attacked.
