AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): When Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath was busy in BJP's Victory rally dancing and accused of organizing poll violence state-wide, he seems to be least bothered to develop the infrastructure of rural Tripura’s schools. An Anganwadi Center in Pecharthal depicts how the Assembly Budget does not count rural children, keeping them far from the mainstream Education system.
Locals of Laljuri Block’s Joymani Paragao area alleged their children’s future looks bleak and also lives of children under danger as there is no maintenance of the collapsing building.
Moreover, food quality is worst and students are bound to sit in the same room where cooking takes place. The institution has no glimpse of a basic educational environment. There is only one employee in the center named Sabita Chakma who is helpless and unable to develop the condition of the Anganwadi Centre.
Locals alleged they complained to the higher authority many times but nothing happened.
