CHURAIBARI, June 16 (TIWN): A daily worker’s daughter 16 years old daughter was allegedly raped and murdered but police is not investigating the case properly, alleged victim family and locals. A protest was staged by villagers at Chuaribari demanding a proper investigation in the case. Accusation raised against Nizamudin (businessman) and a woman was also alleged involved in that case. The victim’s mother said, her daughter returned home as no work was found by her but as soon as she returned home one woman named Fatema Bibi came to their home after a call came saying there is a work for the girl. Fatema Bibi took her from her home.

At afternoon, family was informed that she died by drowning. The family rushed to Nizamuddin’s house at Kadamtala and found Doctors, Police all were present but family was not allowed to see her. Then post mortem was done but no post mortem report has been given yet.  Locals said black spots were found on her dead body.

Public said, if proper investigation does not happen, they will block road in coming days as today, she was raped, murdered and tomorrow another girl will be victim.

They said, because they are poor and Nizamuddin is wealthy, such biased investigation is underway by police. A nexus between police and the accused persons was also alleged.
