AGARTALA, June 14 (2022): Ahead of By-Poll TMC leaders set foot in Tripura including TMC MP Abhishek Banderjee. TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh who also arrived for campaigning, slammed Modi Govt over CBI, ED led harassment of Opposition Leaders. He also Modi’s Tweet over providing jobs.

“BJP believes in revenge Politics, when BJP noticed they cannot contest with TMC Politically then by misusing ED and CBI it is harassing Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee since a long time”, added Kunal Ghosh on being asked about the raid of Central Intelligence on Abhishek Banerjee’s house.

Ghosh condemned the attack done by BJP in front of Police on TMC programme at Agartala-6 constituency on Monday. 

CBI team reached Abhishek Banerjee's residence in the Bhawanipore area in Kolkata this morning to question her in connection with their investigation into the scam. 

"Political witch-hunt by the Centre is shameful! Minutes after our National General Secretary @abhishekaitc lands in Agartala, 'remote controlled' CBI springs into action. Your fear is evident @BJP4India, but we won't back down!" the Trinamool said on Twitter. 

Abhishek Banerjee is in Tripura to campaign for the party in the upcoming bypolls there.
