AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Various areas in Tripura have been affected by storms, whereas houses were damaged in many areas and electricity services suffered majorly. In Belonia, the branches of the tree fell on the houses, and shops and left them damaged. Besides, due to the lack of a proper drainage system, the common people are suffering as the streets are getting flooded with rainwater. Markets, and shops were also affected. In Jirtali many shops were damaged and in a shop somehow the owner of a shop survived, but the items in the shop and the shop house could not be saved. Besides, on the road from Belonia town to Rishyamukh, the traffic was disrupted due to fallen trees at various places.
