SABROOM, April 15 (TIWN): A young man was killed in the Kadamtali Railway Bridge area under Bishalgarh Police Station on Friday morning when he was hit by a train going from Agartala to Sabroom.

The deceased was identified as Kabir Hossain (38).

According to the details of the incident, Kabir Hossain, a mason by profession, was walking along the side of the railway road when the train from Agartala hit him from behind as soon as it reached Kadamtali area.

The locals rushed to the spot and immediately informed the Bishalgarh Fire Department. But before the fire brigade arrived, Kabir was rescued and taken to the hospital in a local vehicle, but Doctor declared him dead.
