AGARTALA, March 18 TIWN (TIWN): The JMC 10,323 teachers' issue is one of the most burning issues in the state, Tripura. Behind BJP Govt came into power in Tripura the 10,323 teachers played an immense role as the BJP govt prior to the 2018 Assembly Poll had promised that after coming into power the ’10,323 teachers’ issue will be resolved’. The BJP Govt crossed its 4 years of rule in Tripura, and only a year left of the next Assembly Poll but the Govt could not solve ‘State’s burning 10,323 teachers’ issue’. As a result the 10,323 teachers have been undergoing the toughest situation due to the ‘Financial crisis' and some teachers to run livelihood selling ‘Vegetables’ and some working as ‘Fishmonger’.
Amid JMC 10,323 teacher’s tough situations none of the Cabinet’s Ministers raised this issue on the 1st Day of 2022-Budget session in Assembly. In spite of the JMC 10,323 teachers had played an important role to bring the BJP Govt into power the Govt made U-turn from them right after the poll. Oppositely, when the teachers' 8 delegation members sought meeting with CM on 14th March they were brutally beaten up by deployed huge Police and TSR forces.
The BJP’s pre-poll promises to 10,323 teachers has turned into a ‘Massive Jumla’ as not a single teacher has yet received ‘Termination letter’ from the govt despite being terminated. Oppositely the JMC claimed several times that their Jobs have not gone they were terminated illegally as Supreme Court directly stated after RTI that they are not the party of SLP No-18993219049/2014 titled- The State of Tripura and other V/s Tanmoy Nath and others.
