AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Ami the ongoing massive controversy over arrests of job aspirants, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath claimed, he has no idea about the detention of any job aspirants. Reportedly, TET qualified teacher demanding recruitment went to Secretariat on March-4 to meet with CM Biplab Deb but the Police detained the TET qualified teachers in front of Secretariat citing lame excuses of blocking VIP road whereas the candidates were on the edge of the road and never blocked the road. When the local media covered the arrest of future teachers and it went viral on social media like storm, now Ratan Lal Nath claimed that he has no information about the detention of TET qualified teachers. However, the Minister has called the incident as 'unfortunate' and asked TET teachers not to be worried about jobs. The Education Minister further said that earlier TET certificates' TET-qualification validity was 7 years but it has now changed to lifetime, means the certificate is valid till the teacher is alive.
