AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): BJP’s bike gang goon’s unstoppable attack destroying peace state-wide. Reportedly, DYFI’s Unit conference was organised in CPIM worker's house in Barjala, Vidya Sagar area in presence of DYFI state president, Nabarun Kar. The conference meeting was organized in the house along with DYFI’s few members, but suddenly around 40-50 bike gang goons rushed at the meeting point attacked leftist workers where around 4-5 persons were injured.
The house owner (a Leftist worker) alleged, his younger brother, a Doctor studying in Guwahati was just on the way to leave home for Guwahati was also beaten up by BJP miscreants. BJP goons had further demolished the programme arrangement. They also threatened the family they will attack them again if such programmes are organized.
But allegations raised on Police that instead of taking action against the BJP miscreants the Police threatened the affected whether they received any permission to continue the meeting from PS. Question being raised, Is it necessary to take permission from local PS to organise internal meeting at home?
However, after resistance the BJP goons escaped the spot, reportedly.
