AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): All Tripura Blind Association members today met former CM Manik Sarkar raising 13 points demand as allegedly no Govt officials are giving time to the Blind Association members and not treating them as human beings. After meeting with the members of All Tripura Blind Association, talking to media Former CM Manik Sarkar said, “In leftist period among 13 points demands, many were implemented and many were in implementation Process, but now it has seen several implemented schemes have slashed and those Schemes which were under implementation Process has been canceled”.
All Tripura Blind Association members alleged to former CM Manik Sarkar that they are not given Priorities at the Govt offices, and denying them badly.
Sarkar condemned such kind of ill-treatment with Blind members at Govt offices.
The Association members told media that they were trying to meet the authority and CM but nobody is ready to listen to them seriously.
Manik Sarkar said to media further, “Many schemes and projects started years ago and some of them could be completed during Left Govt's time but the new Govt is not taking any initiative to implement the schemes. They also demanded separate schools for boys and girls which is a very reasonable demand. CM should listen to them”.
