AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): 10,323 is not only a number, but it’s a burning issue of the state, who were used as vote banks prior to 2018 Assembly Poll but after forming BJP Govt, the Govt made U-turn from the promises given to 10,323 teachers. The 10,323 teachers who were recruited in the CPI-M era in different phases not following the proper rules, were challenged before the High Court of Tripura by Tanmoy Nath and others. Targeting the Victim 10,323 teacher’s issue, the BJP Govt prior to 2018 Assembly Poll had promised to keep their job. But after coming into Power the govt made U-turn, resulting the terminated teacher dying in a row over mental stress to run livelihood after job-loss and so far total 125 teachers died.
CM Biplab Deb on Oct 2nd, 2020 in the Secretariat, promised to resolve the 10,323 teachers issue but more than a year passed, he couldn’t keep his given promise.
Several times the terminated teachers asked the Higher Authority of Education Department to provide them ‘Individual Termination Letter’, if their Job has really gone but yet no positive response was received.
The BJP led State Govt formed an ‘Investigation Committee’ to investigate the 10,323 issue but even after completion of more than a year, the Investigation report is still not declared by the Govt.
