AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): Madrasa teachers are going through tough situations. The teachers serving in Schools are deprived of getting deserved facilities. As a result, the deprived Madrassa teachers raising 6 points demand placed deputation to the Education Department.

The deprived Madrassa teachers raised demand- Tripura SPQEM / SPEMM Madrasa teachers should be provided all facilities like equal salary in according to Equal work with all the facilities like Sarva Shiksha Shikshak (SSA) teachers of this state. To bring 129 Madrasa’s teachers under Grant in Aid under Tripura SPEMM Scheme.

Demand raised to pay 2.25 and 2.57 as announced by the state government to SPEMM Madrasa teachers as per the cabinet decision of the state government. If the teachers working under SPEMM Madrasa die during ongoing job or go for pension, in this case, one time compensation Rs. 25 lakhs should be given to the teachers' families.

The teachers demanded to fill the vacant posts and appoint adequate teachers in each SPEMM / GIA Madrassa. Demands were also raised to provide higher scale to SPEMM teachers.
