AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): While addressing in his Facebook Live from the USA, Tripurainfoway.com (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar slammed Biplab Deb Govt over 2047 Vision amid its failure to focus on the 5 years development and Vision Documents promises. The Editor stated, “Why does Biplab Deb want to rule for 2047 and not for 30 years, 10 years, or 5 years? The reason is after 25 years PM Modi will be 90+ and till then Modi will rule as the PM and so he will also rule as the CM of Tripura. It is a very good vision that he wants to be the CM for 25 years but is it in a Democratic way? No, it is ofcourse through undemocratic means, violence and rigging. Tripura’s law and order have been collapsed. The last incident of CPI-M worker’s brutal murder is very shocking. It’s unfortunate to see how the people of Tripura have turned violent and heartless that they are not trembled before killing each other”.
“However, it’s a day for relief as Biplab Deb’s camp is being broken and collapsed with Sudip Barman and Asish Saha’s joining in Congress. The opposition parties including CPI-M too performing well under leadership of Jitendra Choudhury”, said Editor.
“People may ask, why I don’t talk about other leaders and only about Biplab Deb. The answer is, earlier for 25 years, the state was under Left Govt led by Manik Sarkar. Manik Sarkar did not send goons to beat up the opposition and common men. The media was in better condition at that time. The newspapers or media which are being functioned today, all are bound to publish Biplab Deb’s picture on their front page, otherwise, newspaper offices will be burnt. That’s Biplab Deb’s Democracy. Now it’s up to us, how far should we tolerate such Dictatorship. We have experienced how senior citizens were attacked in the last Municipal Poll. This is nothing but rape or murder of Democracy”, said the Editor with a message of united and democratic movement.
