AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Resigned BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman while addressing the gathering at Agartala Post Office Chowmuhani mentioned how poll rigging under BJP in Tripura in the last four years snatched people's fundamental voting rights.
“People’s votes have been looted because they have no faith in the people anymore”, said Barman.
Sudip Barman further mentioned about all attempts on developing Health Infrastructure taken by him were ignored, leaving the hospitals in a collapsed condition.
“IGM hospital’s building is still empty. A South India company after heavy efforts agreed to come to a state like Tripura to serve the people but that attempt also went in vain and I was sacked from Ministry for that. However, I have no lust for posts as I was proposed for the Cabinet posts twice by Central leadership. I did not take the opportunity because the Ministers have no freedom, no officer listen to the Ministers, MLAs. All power has been kept by one man. For such a Govt, did we ever dream? No, we don't need such an anti-people Govt as people’s welfare is most important for us”, said Barman.
