AGARTALA, Feb 7 (TIWN): Resented BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman, who is in main focus in State’s Political ground about his next Political move heading towards Delhi today. BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman and BJP MLA Asish Saha have resigned as the MLA of the Legislative Assembly. Barman and Saha both handed over their resignation letters to Tripura Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty.
Barman said, “We do Politics for the benefit of the public and public miseries can no longer be tolerated”
“The Democracy in peril, public wails are no longer being tolerated, because in the state only one Person rule is settled down. Talking to Ministers, they expressed their helplessness situation”, said Barman.
“Publics like farmers, labourers, employees or Unemployed youths' suffering and their cries are not touching Govt's heart”, stated resigned BJP MLA Barman.
Barman also said that today he is feeling light after resigning from BJP and this Govt (BJP) will be rendered to the minority. However, resigned BJP MLA and Saha will return on coming Saturday from Delhi and will brief the reason before media behind resignation from BJP.
Barman, who played an immense role in forming BJP in Tripura prior to 2018 Assembly Poll, was removed from Health Ministry’s post in 2019, June by CM Biplab Deb.
