AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Counter Attacking the allegation of blackmailing by ‘men in women’s attire’ content, CPI-M leader, former SFI State General Secretary, Adv Nilanjana Roy gave a clean chit to the four detained persons saying, they belong to LGBTQIA community, has no link with the alleged illegal activity.
Nilanjana Roy lashed out at police and a section of media saying, ‘They are living in Fools’ Paradise’.
On the other hand, LGBTQIA members claimed that they were physically assaulted and inappropriately touched by journalists.
On 8th January night, four youths were detained by police with allegations of wrongdoings in women’s attire. All the four youths told the media, they have full right to dress as they want and they are not linked with any such alleged blackmailing and wrongdoing.
