AGARTALA, December 30 (TIWN): Tripura Governor P.B. Acharya met with the ICFAI delegation on Monday after his arrival at the state. The representatives during a meeting with Governor said that the ICFAI to start Kokborok certificate courses from January 2015. However Governor P.B. Acharya also urged the delegation to start other regional and tribal language certificate courses at their institution, that will help a section of the people of the state to move forward in future with better knowledge. The ICFAI delegation also discussed about their first convocation program during a meeting with the Governor.
On Monday, Governor P B Acharya also had a meeting with the centre for Forest based livelihoods extension Regional Director over conducting research on Bamboos. And later in regard of solving every difficulties in Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) he held a discussion with the ICFRE Director General.
Governor P B Acharya arrived here in the state on December 29, and will stay till January 8 next. During his ten days stay in the state Acharya is scheduled to visit the district headquarters of North, Dhalai, Khowai and Sepahijala districts.
