AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): Inhuman decisions of the Tripura BJP Govt have erupted heavy resentment among the public from privatizing the school education system to bulldozing poor vendors’ shops, snatching livelihoods of the poor without considering any compensation or alternative arrangements for them. After Agartala where small shops around CM’s quarter were destroyed, the same was done in Dharmanagar, North Tripura District. Devastated shopkeepers staged a protest, blocking the road while tears were rolling down their faces. The most brutal part of such demolition moves is the shops are not removed but damaged and the Corporation takes away the shops, leaving nothing for the poor people’s survival.
In Agartala, for CM Biplab Deb’s walk and exercise, the small shops were bulldozed.
