BELONIA, Nov 6 (TIWN): TMC Candidate of Belonia Ward No-5 Dolon Das's father was kidnapped allegedly by BJP in a threat to withdraw nomination.

An FIR was lodged in the local police station but the police's role has been totally unsatisfactory.

BJP already has won over hundred seats (around 30%) uncontested allegedly through massive violence, attacks and pre-poll rigging and now during nomination submission processes, the demand of withdrawal of nomination has resulted in Ward No-5 like incidents.

Even after lodging a complaint and submitting a phone number which was used to threaten the candidate, police allegedly took no step.
