AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s tall claims on ‘No Water Logging from 2019’ has turned his another empty promise and 'Visionless Mission' as nothing was changed with the change of the Govt although in 2017-18, Agartala water-logging problem played a major role to slash vote banks of the then ruling CPI-M party. CM Biplab Deb’s special promise to his constituency people Banamalipur that no water logging will remain once he and his BJP Party are voted to power has also remained without any development. Today after a few splashes of rain, the whole city started flooding and normal lives were heavily disrupted due to the water-logging.
Various parts of the city went under water and the public were bound to walk through the dirty water.
Unclean drains turned the ongoing situation worse because dirty smells and dirty surroundings created an unhygienic condition in Agartala today.
CM Biplab Deb in 2018 assured that by 2019 there will be no water logging in Agartala but two years have gone without any progress, proving the water-logging problem solution was Visionless while promised.
