AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): Even though under 6th Pay Commission, West Bengal employees are getting double salaries than Tripura employees, Tripura CM Biplab Deb while addressing the Tripura Civil Service Officers' Association's conference at Rabindra Bhawan said that 7th Pay Commission scale has been given to the Tripura Govt employees.
BJP before the 2018 election had promised the employees to give 7th Pay Commission in the first cabinet meeting where salaries will be doubled and Rs. 40,000 salaries will be raised to Rs. 1.25 Lakh.
However, in the name of 7th Pay Commission only 0.32% was hiked whereas DA has been almost stopped. Earlier employees got 25% to 30% DA in 3 years and now only 3% DA have been given to employees in 3 years.
Amid all these, CM Biplab Deb said that all pending arrears will be given as soon as he will manage the fund.
