According to the details of the incident, around 10.30 am on Saturday, housewife Purnima Sarkar in absence of her in-laws tried to commit suicide by drinking poison. The next time the people of the house heard her screams, they immediately took her to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. When she was brought to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital, the doctor on duty referred her to Hapania Hospital after seeing the deteriorating condition. Presently the housewife is under treatment now.

On the other hand, it is known that the housewife's husband Sujit Ghosh died mysteriously in his house on September 20. At the time of her husband's death, there was only Purnima Sarkar with her husband in the house. On the other hand, the housewife claimed that she was sleeping in the house that day with her son and daughter. At night, she suddenly saw her husband hanging from the ceiling with a veil. Immediately the housewife took him down from hanging and informed other members of the house.

Although the whole incident is still under police investigation. Among them, the attempted suicide of the housewife has brought a new turn in the case under investigation.
