AGARTALA, Sep 21 (TIWN): In a mysterious way, a youth died in Bishalgarh on Monday night. The incident took place in Harish Municipal Corporation's 2 no gate area under Bishalgarh Subdivision.

Reportedly, the deceased identified as Sujit Sarkar was an auto driver by profession. His wife claimed that on Monday night he was found hanging from ceiling of his own room. But without informing other family members, his wife released him from the rope. When the family members got to know about the incident, they immediately took him to Hapania Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.

Although his wife claimed that he committed suicide but the deceased's mother and other family members are alleging that Sujit's wife murdered him out of quarrel. Sujit got married to Purnima 8 years ago and they have one 7-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter.

His body has been sent to the hospital for autopsy. Now after the post-mortem report comes, it will be cleared whether Sujit killed himself or he was murdered as claimed by his mother.
