AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): In a rare scenario, students were traced celebrating after Education Dept announced that the D.EL.ED examination will be held online.

The students from 5 D.EL,ED colleges were in protest for many days seeking online exams and exams at the earliest.

Finally, after around a month, the Education Dept agreed to respond positively to the students' plea. The students raised slogan "Students Power Long Live" after the announcement.

Students said that their demand was online because classes were taken offline. Moreover, the course ending deadline is already crossing. 

The students thus also appealed for the earliest completion of the examination. 

An official of the Dept said that with 2 days, fresh routine will be given.
