AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Unknown woman’s dead body along with injured child recovered from railway track. The incident took place near Maiganga Melapathar Railgate under Teliamura Police Station.

According to the details of the incident, at around 12 noon on Sunday, the locals of the area adjacent to the railway gate of Maiganga Melapathar saw a middle-aged woman's lifeless body with a child lying on the railway track. The Teliamura railway police rushed to the spot after being informed and rescued the child.

Thild is currently undergoing treatment at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital. .

The dead woman could not be identified. Her husband Shankar Das died just few months back.
