AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Man fighting with death in hospital bed after being electrocuted with a torn electric wire, due Slumber role of electric department.

Reportedly, Tutan Das (36), a resident of Puratan Rajnagar area of Bishalgarh sub-division, was seriously injured after being stuck with an electrical wire while carrying cattle, which was lying on road in torn state. 

On hearing Tutan’s scream, locals rescued him by disconnecting the main switch. Immediately injured Tutan was taken to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital, and after giving primary health services the on-duty Doctors referred him to GB hospital noticing his critical condition.

Tutan’s family alleged, to repair the torn electric wire several times the matter was informed to the Electric Department but the Electric Department has been neglecting the matter, which caused this accident.
