She was one of the terminated 10323 teachers. While interacting with media TMC leader Bratya Basu said, "It is very unfortunate what happened to 10323 teachers. In West Bengal, no teacher lost their job under TMC's rule. Infact the teachers and other govt employees get their salary at the 1st day of every month. They are also given health and security facilities under different schemes of the West Bengal govt which we are planning to provide in Tripura when TMC will come to the power."

Over hundred teachers of 10323 died due to various reasons including extreme stress and tension about their uncertain future. However, no step has been taken by Biplab Deb Government to help the families of 10323 who died in this long fight with the system's incompetency. Infact, the state BJP government showed their extreme inhuman nature by completely ignoring the 10323 matter, leaving over thousands of people's lives in uncertainty.
