AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): In protest against Trinamool Student Unit member Solanki Sengupta's abduction incident, Trinamool Congress leaders, members have gathered at East Agartala Women Police station. The Trinamool members led by MP Santanu Sen and Kunal Ghosh met the OC of East PS Saroj Bhattacharjee, OC Agartala Women PS and then SDPO Ramesh Yadav. The demand of Trinamool Congress was for the arrest of the ABVP members who kidnapped the girl Solanki Sengupta. However, after lots of argument, Police officials in the police station said that without proper investigation nobody can be arrested right now. This statement resented the Trinamool leaders but it was agreed that tomorrow the statement of victim Solanki Sengupta will be recorded in the Magistrate's Court face to face, so that the matter can go in fair legal manner via Court. Victim Solanki Sengupta was also present with the Trinamool members.
