KAMALPUR, Dec 20 (TIWN): Instead of providing facilities to the customers, the Customer Service Point of Manikbhander State Bank of India branch, turned into a point of harassment for the customers. More seriously, the rough behavior of the business correspondent of the point Mr. Kiritbikram Ghosh often make the customers to feel insulted. But mysteriously, the SBI authority remains reluctant about all these.
State Bank of India, Manikbhander branch started a customer service point almost six years ago. It was started mainly to pay the MGNREGA wages to the workers and some other works. But from the very beginning the behavior of the Business correspondant Kiritbikram Ghosh and his attitude towards the customers remained insulting. He opens and closes this service point at his own will. Often his audacity creates problem for the customers. Several times the customers alleged about it to the Bank authority but in vain. Even today he humiliated some customers as they questioned him on his closing the point at 1 pm. Humiliated customers Samaru Gour (65), Swapan Gour, Sajal Das and many others alleged that, when they asked about his earlier closing, then they abused him with slang languages.
Now, the customers want that the authorites in Agartala should address this situation and customers can avoid such humiliation and harassment in future.
