AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): CPI-M party member has been murdered allegedly by BJP local goons centering land issue.

The deceased Pradip Nama's family said that Pradip Nama was beaten up by goons many times earlier. 

Many fabricated cases were also lodged against Pradip Nama by the BJP in political vendetta, alleged family.

Yesterday, Pradip Nama went out at around 10 O'Clock for his regular routine work but he did not return home. 

Police since the report was lodged started a search operation. The victim's relatives also came to their home and searched for him, but he was going missing. 

Family members said that the place where his body was found today, 3 times this area was checked thoroughly since yesterday but nothing was found. Even today morning that place was checked but his body was not found and later when again locals searched in that area Pradip Nama's body was found in the same place. It has been suspected that after murdering him, his body was kept in that place.

Family mainly accused BJP worker Tapan Sarkar behind the alleged murder. 

Police started an investigation and the dead body was sent for post mortem.

A similar incident took place in Joynagar where a 58 years old man was beaten up by BJP local workers centering land issue. Land-mafia raj is at a drastic spike in Tripura.
