AGARTALA, August 3 (TIWN): A minor boy, Class-10 student attempted rape a housewife taking advantage of secluded place at rubber garden. The incident occurred in Sabroom sub-division.

According to the details of the incident, like everyday, the 22-year-old woman went to rubber garden to collect rubber at around 9 am this morning.

Suddenly a minor boy of same area grabbed her from back, tore her dress and tried to rape her. The housewife somehow escaped from the spot by biting his hand safely.

She informed the entire incident to her husband over phone. Soon after hearing the incident, the victim wife's husband returned home and took her to Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital.

The housewife went under shocks after the rape attempt on her. An FIR was lodged against the accused in the local police station.
