AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): All India Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee in his one-day visit in Tripura on Monday has lambasted the State BJP Govt after an attack took place on him by BJP workers allegedly under Biplab Deb's order. Raising finger at the deteriorated law and order condition in the state, Banerjee said, "Infact, under the previous Left Govt, the law and order situation was better. But, now people are realizing, voting for BJP was like inviting a crocodile by making it a path to enter. Tripura BJP has forgotten that in Democracy, Public mandate should not be taken as granted. In Democracy, people are the biggest power and nobody is above them. The people who can play with the people's future for their own benefit must keep it in mind that if the people can elevate them to power, then people can also throw them from power".

Banerjee further asked CM Biplab Deb, why is he so afraid of the Trinamool ? What is the reason behind his insecurity ?

"It is only the BJP which claims Trinamool has no ground in Tripura but if Trinamool has no ground, why are they afraid of the Trinamool ? Why are they attacking the Trinamool workers, destroying Trinamool flags ? Why did they attack me ?", Asked Abhishek Banerjee.

"We will restore Democracy here in Tripura. We will make sure the people of Tripura get Kanyashree, Yubashree, Minimum Income to All and the Govt should be in Doors but BJP has given Goons in Doors", he added.
