AGARTALA (Usha Bazar), July 2 (TIWN): Trinamool countered BJP's "Joy Shree Ram" slogan on Monday with "Joy Tripura" slogan after BJP supporters at a huge number held an unprecedented gathering in front of Trinamool activists who in limited numbers were putting flags in Usha Bazar, Agartala. Yesterday, Trinamool had put some flags and posters which were destroyed by the BJP during the night hours and after that once again when the Trinamool members were putting flags on Abhishek Banerjee's arrival, men and women in groups from BJP Party stood in front of the Trinamool leaders.

Police tried to handle the situation and requested Trinamool activists to leave the area with police security as the opposite side had gathered in bigger numbers. 

However, Trinamool youth activists argued, why are police not taking action against hooligans who are breaking law and order ? 

Trinamool has said that BJP and Biplab Deb are doing such narrow politics out of fear as BJP is definitely going to lose the 2023 poll in Tripura.

Trinamool activists have slammed Tripura Police calling them "Biplab Deb's bootlickers", asking Police to wear bangles in their hands.
