AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): Even after clearing loan instalments a Micro Finance Company has been pressuring the borrower to pay loan instalment.
Reportedly, Ashirwad Micro Finance Company sent a legal notice to the borrowers without showing any valid paper to pay the arrears of 4,000 rupees within the next 15 days even after clearing loan instalments.
According to the borrowers, they took the loan of Rs 25,000 and cleared the debt of Rs 1200 instalments but even after loan clearance, Ashirwad Micro Finance Company are pressuring them to pay the debt. Such allegations have been raised by Partha Karmakar, resident of Ujan Abhay Nagar, a home tutor by profession, the Finance Company called him several times and asked to pay the arrears.
The same pressure continues to come even after the victim showed the loan clearance valid document to the office, allegedly. The victim is embarrassed after receiving legal notice from the company even after clearing the loan. Such incidents have happened to several other people, the victim Partha Karmakar alleged.
However, the victim said he will go for legal procedure if necessary.
