AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): A housewife committed suicide at South Chandrapur area of Agartala on Wednesday. The deceased is identified as Priti Paul.
Allegedly, the housewife committed suicide due to her husband's torture. Her family members alleged that the husband had an illicit affair with several other women. On Wednesday morning after noticing her body hanging from ceiling the family members immediately informed police. Police rushed to the place and recovered her body.
The body was handed over to the family after autopsy at GB Hospital. This incident casts a shadow of mourning over the family.
