AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): In an another pathetic road accident that has occurred between a passenger car and a bike, 3 persons got critically injured on Monday.

Reportedly, on Monday afternoon a Passenger car which was coming from Motorstand area of Amarpur clashed with a bike carrying three persons in it. The accident took place on the road adjacent to Ramthakur Shebasram area under Amarpur Subdivision.

3 persons sustained critical injuries in this incident. After the incident, the local people called Fire Brigade. Fire Brigade members and police from Birganj PS rushed to the spot and recovered the injured persons and admitted them to sub-divisional hospital. Later one person was referred to District hospital of Gomati as his condition was deteriorating.

The eye-witnesses alleged that the car driver was drunk at that time. The Birganj police arrested the driver and registered a case on this matter for further investigation.
