AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): Demanding MNREGA work and Tipra Motha party members locked the Patichari block office under Bokafa RD Block, also allegation raised MNREGA workers deprived from their wages.

It has been alleged that the Tipra Motha party members in the ADC area have not been getting works since the ADC elections results were declared. Also allegation was raised that those who worked under MNREGA project are not receiving wages properly.

Meanwhile, members of the Tipra Matha party locked the Patichhari Village Office in the Bagafa Block on Monday in an allegation of not getting REGA work. Centering this issue the Secretary and other working employees in the village office were locked inside the office.

Later, it was informed to Shantir Bazar Police Station and the Police rushed to the spot after receiving the news of the incident and released the office employees.
