AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Joint Movement Committee (JMC) 10323 teachers' joint convener Ajay Debbarma asked whether the number of the terminated teachers are 10323 or it's 10319.

Ajay Debbarma was addressing at AD Nagar Ground after police arrested the agitating terminated teachers. 

Addressing media from AD Nagar ground, Ajay Debbarma said, "Our Education Minister always mention 10323 teachers but I have a question whether it's 10323 or 10319 ?"

Explaining further about the matter, Ajay Debbarma said, "When in 2010, offers were released for GT it was total 4616, PGT 1103 and in 2013-14 UGT total number was 4600. The total number is 10319. Another writ petition was added numbered 537/2012 science. Now, my question is why everyone of the 10323 teachers were not terminated ?"

Ajay Debbarma asked the present Govt to clarify this legal complication.
