AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): A serious allegation was made against congress president Pijush Kanti Biswas for threatening a shopkeeper for illegally occupying Congress Bhawan land.

The allegation against Pijush Kanti Biswas was raised by mattress shop owner for threatening him. The mattress shop owner has been trading in front of Congress Bhawan since last 50 years and Congress alleged that he has been the occupying Congress Bhawan land illegally.

Reportedly, 4 ft area illegally occupied by the shop owner and the members of Congress Bhawan called the shop owner and asked to leave the illegally occupied land. But today without any prior notice a youth named, Rahul Saha along with a labour was measuring the shop area without informing the shop owner. Seeing this shop owner filed a case in this regard at Wast PS.

On the other side Talking to District congress President, it is known the shop owner preliminary agreed to leave the land but later the shop owner did not respond anything regarding the matter. So now the matter will go forward according to law and also they will register a complaint at Municipalty.

However, the shopkeeper’s wife alleged before media that Pijush Kanti Biswas threatened her that he would vandalize the shop.
