AGARTALA, June 3(TIWN): A resident of East Champamura area under Bishalgarh RD block of Kamalasagar assembly constituency, Janardhan Shil’s daughter who is studying in Class-5 has been receiving girl child allowance for many years, but it was alleged that BJP government suddenly without any proper reason stopped his daughter’s girl child allowance. It was alleged Janardhan’s daughter has been deprived of child pension for almost last 2 years.

According to Janardhan’s family, it is known his family has total of five members but none of them are doing any government job, moreover, Janardhan is somehow supporting his family with his little earnings by running a small saloon shop. But why the BJP government has cut his daughter's girl child allowance is not yet known. With a little money from the girl child allowance, his daughter's education had been spent but now the allowance has been stopped. With huge resentment Janardhan’s wife in front of the media said Janardhan would fill the hunger of the entire family members or would run his daughter's education? If the situation goes like this then Janardhan's daughter's future would be introduced in dark life soon.

The family requested the government to provide financial help to his family or else at least the allowance of his daughter should be returned.  However, earlier Tripura’s people witnessed how Biplab Deb’s government slashed the social pension of old people and kept them under starvation. Tripura CM, Biplab Deb earlier claimed no social pension was cut in his regime but the reality shows different scenario. Entire state’s people are expressing resentment over the brutal face of Biplab Deb and his government.
