AGARTALA, June 1 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratanl Lal Nath has been trolled for calling English, Science and Math as major subjects.

The Education Minister was referring about planning for Madhyamik examinations when said so. He said Govt has plan to take exams only in these major subjects.

Netizens have opposed the labeling of major subjects and minor subjects saying, 'each subject is important'.

Some of the Comments came from the Netizens as :

1) Why you denied first language i.e. Bengali ,Kokborok & Mizo ? Is first language not important for us ?

2) I don't think so it's a logical thinking of only taking exams on some Particular subjects. It's better not to take exam only. You can do one thing, After analysing all the previous results record of every student, you can grade them. Or else you can take exam for all subjects with precautions.

3) So, Corona will not visit in those 3 exam days???

4) à¦¸à¦¬ Subject ই important. Major subject minor subject বলে কিছু নেই।

5) Educational racism it is.
