AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): Newly formed TTAADC Council is now focusing on Health Infrastructure Development amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. To brief about the status of Health Infrastructure in ADC, TIPRA Motha Chairman led TTAADC Council members held a press conference today evening and declared about 71 numbers of O2 Concentrators' arrival tomorrow in Khumulwng which will be sent from Delhi. It was possible with Pradyot Manikya's own initiative after he contacted his close circle in Delhi. It was said in the press meet that in ADC there is no problem about the basic infrastructure like buildings, but the problem is about lack of equipment inside those buildings.
Pradyot Manikya also cited Tripura Govt's plab about Dhalai Medical College establishment, which he said should not focus much on structuring building but on true development and to mitigate the health crisis.
TTAADC Council also demanded sufficient numbers of Doctors in the ADC hospital so that the infrastructure can be utilized and pressure on Agartala hospitals end.
Pradyot Manikya further assured that in next 1 month an Oxygen plant will be set up in Khumulwng and Council is too focusing on CT Scan, X-Ray machines functioning and purchasing new sets.
