Agartala, Dec 13 (TIWN): An IPS officer of state was appointed as Superintendent of Police in National Investigation Agency while two TPS Grade-I officers were transferred and posted in Tripura. An order from General Administration (Personel and Training) Department- F.2(1)-GA(P&T)/13 undersigned by Additional Secretary to the state government- RP Datta has been issued in this regard today.
In pursuance of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, letter no- I-21015/30/2014-IPS-IV, Soumitra Dhar IPS (MT 2005), Superintendent of Police (Security), Tripura was appointed as Superintendent of Police in National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a period of 4 years from the date assumption of change of the post and until further orders, which ever event takes place earlier. He is accordingly released from the state government with effect from the date of relinquishes the change of present assignment.
In another order from General Administration (Personel and Training) Department- F.2(1)-GA(P&T)/13 undersigned by Additional Secretary to the state government- RP Datta, two TPS Grade-I officers were transferred and posted in the interest of public service with immediate effect and until further orders.
Kamal Chakraborty (brother of BDO Bimal Chakraborty), Commandant of Tripura State Rifles (TSR) 11 Bn. is transferred and posted in the place of Soumitra Dhar as Superintendent of Police (Security) while Manik Das, CIAT School, Kachucherra attached at Police Head Quarter (PHQ) is transferred and posted in the place of Kamal Chakraborty as Commandant of TSR 11 Bn.
