AGARTALA, May 14 (TIWN): One person has been arrested named Sugrib Tripura in Belonia 2 siblings mysterious death incident.

The body of a missing brother and sister were recovered from a pond in a deep forest at Indira Nagar of Gabtali area under Rajnagar block, Belonia on Thursday morning.

Sugrib Tripura was taken to the PR bari PS for inquiry based on murder allegation of local villagers as scratches found in his body. 

According to the details it is known, on last Wednesday morning, brother, Hridoy Dey(13) and sister, Rita Dey (11) of a same family went missing while grazing a cow in a deep forest 2 kilometres away from home. 

After a long search with the help of local villagers the cows were recovered but the villagers had not traced both the brother and sister, unable to trace them the family filed a missing diary at the Rajnagar, PR Bari PS. 

Finally, on Thursday morning, the body of the missing brother and sister were found in a deep forest pond at Indira Nagar, Gabtali area under Rajnagar block, Belonia.  On recovering the death bodies of both brother and sister the family has broken down down into tears. It is known Rita and Hridoy’s father Sadhan Dey is a betel leaf trader and their mother Rinku Dey Sarkar is a housewife. 

The cause of death is not yet known but the Police are investigating the incident. However, the police arrested a man, Sugrib Tripura based on suspicion of murder after rape as scratches found in Sugrib’s body.  Meanwhile, after receiving the news the forensic team and dog squad from Agartala reached to the scene. The police recovered the two lifeless bodies of brother and sister from the pond and took them to the morgue of Nihar Nagar Primary Hospital for an autopsy. 

Recovering the dead bodies of 2 children from the same family has descended the shadow of morning over the area.
