TELIAMURA, May 13 (TIWN): Road accidents are one of the biggest causes of deaths, vehicles reckless speed leads to minor and major accidents in Tripura roads. A young man met with an accident with scooty and was severely injured . The incident took place in the area adjacent to Chalitabari School under Teliamura Police Station.

The injured man has been identified as Prashanta Debbarma, 24 years old, resident of Tuisindrai Bazaar area, Teliamura was seriously injured in a road accident.

On Wednesday at around 6 pm Teliamura Fire Department received news that a young aged man had met with an accident at the area adjacent to Chailtabari School under Teliamura PS, said Fire department personnel.

Immediately on receiving the accident news Teliamura Fire Service personnel rushed to the scene and rescued the seriously injured man, Prashanta.  However, it is not known how he met with an accident.

Later, the injured was taken to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital in critical condition, and the man is currently undergoing treatment at Hospital.
