Agartala, December 12 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar slammed private nursing homes in Tripura for poor healthcare services. CM made this statement during the Indian Dental Association's 15th Annual Conference. Conference was held in Agartala Press Club and inaugurated by CM.
Speaking on this occasion Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said," The services that the nursing homes in Tripura providing are not up to the mark. They are not providing services like the nursing homes in Delhi and other parts of India."
CM further said the the state govt is trying to set up a Dental College in Tripura for a long time. But due to lack of adequate budget it could not have been done so far. Manik Sarkar urged the President of Indian Dental Association Dr Dipendu Majumder to see if s Dental college can be set up in Tripura. CM Manik Sarkar assured saying ," Whatever assistance the state govt is to provide, we will surely do it. But you please see what needs yo be done for setting up of a dental college "
