Agartala, Dec 12 (TIWN): As part of North-East Darshan programme, 18 Manipur Police Service (Prob) officers concluded 4-day study tour and left the state today. They arrived here in Agartala on December 9.
All the 18 officers including a lady officer are undergoing training at MPTC, Pangei in Manipur. They were accompanied by a SP and an Assistant Commandant level officer.
An interaction session in between Manipur Police Service (Prob) officers and Director General of Police- K. Nagaraj and other police officials was conducted at Police Head Quarter conference hall on December 10.
During the interaction session, the 18 MPS officers were interested in learning about the successes achieved by Tripura Police in dealing with insurgency and restoration of normalcy. DGP K. Nagaraj, Inspector General of Police (Law and Order)- Anurag Dhankar and other police officers briefed them about the policing in Tripura accordingly.
