AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb's arrogance and manipulated information which are being sent to the Centre may turn costly for BJP's future existence in Tripura. Amid majority of the BJP MLAs are against Chief Minister Biplab Deb's continuation as CM due to his arrogance, now Biplab Deb is losing support among his indigenous MLAs also ahead of ADC Poll. With the nomination submission deadline to end in 2 days, BJP's Indigenous MLAs have boycotted PM Modi's virtual rally at Astabal stadium. Reportedly, majority of the MLAs including the non-tribe MLAs too boycotted the rally where Biplab Deb was the front face in 3 years of Govt formation. Inside the indigenous BJP MLAs resentment was high against BJP CM and BJP State President as both suddenly attempted to impose their plans about candidature on the BJP's indigenous wing.
Even IPFT is getting more seats than BJP in this ADC Poll which has erupted huge resentments in BJP. BJP Janajati Morcha pointed after Assembly and Lok Sabha polls massive victories, why BJP should need IPFT to fight when IPFT is not compromising with seats ?
Moreover, though in the Assembly Election, voters and party workers accepted the alliance with separate state demanding party IPFT but with time goes, questions have triggered inside the BJP Party how "Ek Tripura" ideology can run in the long run with a party which demands to divide Tripura in two-parts ?Before the alliance was sealed, BJP MLAs, MP Rebati Tripura and other MLAs, leaders of the Janajati Morcha met Biplab Deb and State BJP President over this issue but suddenly it was announced that IPFT is getting huge numbers of seat-shares indeed more seats than the BJP.
Insulted MLAs, MP of the Janajati Morcha decided to stay away from political meetings since the alliance was announced.
