AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): IPFT Party has abandoned Pradyot Manikya and his TIPRA party over the rumoured CBI threat on IPFT in Journalist Santanu Bhoumik murder case.
As IPFT has manipulated the politcal ethics by aligning with Tipra BJP Krishnanagar Office allegedly gave hint to IPFT about probable outcomes if it breaks alliance with BJP : 1) Both IPFT Ministers will lose their Ministry, 2) From Corporation to Block, IPFT members will be dropped, 3) Reopening of Journalist Santanu Bhoumik murder case, where IPFT leaders' names are booked.
After getting a clear picture of the outcome of breaking alliance with BJP, IPFT broke its alliance with TIPRA.
BJP-IPFT amid all heated exchanges have finally overcome their infighting and agreed to fight the ADC Election on 50-50 seat shares. BJP has announced 14 candidates names today. But lot of confusions have been generated as out of 14 seats, BJP will face IPFT candidates also in 3 seats. Talking to media Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman said that the fight is not about seats but it's for ADC development.
On being asked about Greater Tipraland, IPFT President, Minister NC Debbarma said that IPFT does not bound to the Greater Tipraland demand but it's aim is always about Tipraland. However, Jishnu Debbarman further said that developing ADC is the ultimate aim of BJP and IPFT's alliance. "Any Political party can demand anything but when it's about alliance it has nothing to do with compromising of ideologies. A clear agenda is set while parties are in alliance and our agenda is more-power-to-ADC", Jishnu Debbarman told media.
